Министерством спорта, туризма и молодёжной политики совместно с министерством сельского хозяйства Калужской области принято решение о проведении с 21 по 23 июня текущего года XVIII областных летних сельских спортивных игр в г. Калуге. Игры будут проходить на базах спортивных школ «Анненки» и «Юность», а также на базах спортивных школ по конному спорту и академической гребле.
Порядок проведения игр был направлен в адрес администраций муниципальных районов. Игры будут проводиться по 16 видам соревнований. Среди них: - армспорт, волейбол (мужчины), волейбол (женщины), гиревой спорт, гребля на лодках, настольный теннис, перетягивание каната, соревнования дояров, соревнования косарей, соревнования механизаторов, соревнования спортивных семей, уличный баскетбол (мужчины), уличный баскетбол (женщины), лёгкая атлетика и футбол.
В ходе совещания с органами местного самоуправления глава аграрного веодмства региона Леонид Громов сообщил, что требования к составу команд и к порядку их формирования, по сравнению с прошлым годом, практически не изменились и обратился к районам с просьбой, не откладывая, приступить к подготовке к играм.
Леонид Громов попросил также обратить особое внимание на своевременное представление заявок на участие в играх, а также экипировку, транспортное обеспечение и организованный заезд команд 22 июня на торжественное открытие игр, которое состоится на большой спортивной арене спорткомплекса «Анненки».
Начальникам районных отделов сельского хозяйства было поручено лично проконтролировать участие в соревнованиях механизаторов, дояров и косарей. Министр подчеркнул, что они должны быть подготовлены не только профессионально, но и физически, а также иметь с собой всё необходимое оборудование и инвентарь, а механизаторы ещё и соответствующий документ на право управлять трактором.
Леонид Громов отметил, что от качества совместной организованной работы будет зависеть, как пройдёт в Калуге праздник летнего сельского спорта, и с каким настроением уедут домой сельские спортсмены.
